He trained at the prestigious Hospital Gregorio Marañón in Madrid and holds a PhD in Medicine with research on cardiac transplant rejection. As Associate Professor at ULPGC, he combines clinical excellence with academic leadership.

Dra. Medina brings specialized expertise in electrophysiology, arrhythmias, and cardiac device management. Trained at Hospital Gregorio Marañón in Madrid as a Fellow in Electrophysiology, she is experienced in pacemaker implantation, cardiac defibrillators, resynchronization therapy, and ablation procedures. She has served at Hospital Insular de Gran Canaria since 1991.
